How to submit blog to Google

This post will explain how to submit your blogger blog to Google.To get your blog pages indexed in Google's search engine this is required.By getting your blog indexed in Google you get more blog traffic and reach out to more people.

To submit your blog log into GOOGLE WEBMASTERS using your gmail id.

1.Sign into GOOGLE WEBMASTERS :

After signing in you will see this webmasters dashboard.

2.Add your blog url :

Hers enter your blog url without http:// or www prefix ,example bloggertrixntips.blogspot.com,after this click on Add Site.

3.Verify your blog :

After this you will be asked to verify your blog,this is done by Webmaster to confirm that your are the owner of the blog.To do this click on Verify your site.

4.Select verification method :

Webmaster allows two verification methods one is add a meta tag and the other is upload a HTML file,for blogger blogs we have to choose add a meta tag option.

5.Copy the <meta> tag :

Now a meta tag would be generated and displayed copy this meta tag.

6.Paste it in your blog template and save it :

Now sign into blogger ,go to Layout>Edit html now paste this meta tag after <head>,as shown below.

Now save your template and come back to Webmaster ,now click verify.

7.Your blog is added into Google's index:

Now after successful completion you will see this .
